34th Anniversary

Well its hard to believe it has been 34 years but I guess it shouldn't be because it is said that "time flies when you are having fun". We decided to to do something different this year for our anniversary so we when to Natchitoches,La. the "City of Lights" It is the oldest city in Louisiana. We stayed in a wonderful old home (a Bed and Breakfast) and met some very nice people. We were within walking distance of the old downtown so we spent the day there. We toured three old homes with a lot of history and enjoyed the Christmas lights on the Cane River. The next day we traveled south down the Natchitoches Historical Trail. We saw several old plantation homes. The church in the video is the one in the movie, Steel Magnolias. We also show the house from the movie where the main family lived. We came back through Shreveport and went to the Boardwalk and had a wonderful dinner at Salt Grass Steak House. We spent several hours shopping and enjoying the sights and the weather. We had some great company for Thanksgiving. Dustin and Angeleah spent the day with us. We had a wonderful meal with plenty to eat. Afterwards we watch a movie and played Uno Attacks.

It was great having Jason home for a few days. It all went by so fast.
